New Jersey has a new premiere entertainment destination in Newark with the new CityPlex12 theatre; a first-run, all-Digital, stadium seating, 3D-capable movie theatre in New Jersey’s largest City.  Co-owned by Boraie Development, LLC and Newark native and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, the new CityPlex12 theatre is on the site of the former 6-screen Loews Newark Metroplex and Newark Screens Theatre.

Other attending guests included former Governor James Florio, Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Assemblyman Albert Coutinho and Assemblywoman L. Grace Spencer.
