NJ BIZ Spotlights Newark’s Exciting Transformation

Bringing the World to Newark!
On, Thursday, July 23rd, 2009, BCDC hosted 17 reporters from outlets across the world for a full day tour of Newark. The group interviewed Mayor Cory A. Booker, Local and State of NJ Economic Development leadership and the senior leadership from Mimeo.com, Audible.com, and Distribution Solutions. The group also visited the Richardson Lofts’ Site, the Prudential Center and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. The Foreign Press Center group will include representatives from Demark, France, Korea, China, Hungary, United Kingdom, Poland, Japan, Israel, China, Russia, Israel, Sweden, Hong Kong and India
